Section Head of Operation for East Jakarta Fire and Rescue Sub-dept, Gatot Sulaiman disclosed the fire is triggered by gas leakage. Before the incident, the gas was used for cooking in the kitchen.
As a result, the flames quickly grew up and burned the kitchen. A number of restaurant employees were trying to put out the flames, but they failed. Luckily, fire trucks immediately arrived to the scene.
